There was a major UFO sighting in Turkey earlier this month (Nov. 4, 2007) that included UFO photos and UFO videos being taken. The UFO was seen in the Karakopru region of Saliurfa at approximately 4 a.m. on the morning of Nov. 4th. The object that was captured in UFO videos shot by an amateur photographer appeared to be a hexagonal ball of light that hovered while emitting red, green and white lights. According to witnesses, it seemed to zip quickly around the sky in an erratic manner. Today's Zaman website also reported, "This is not the first instance of a UFO sighting in Turkey. They occur regularly, with recent ones in Konya in March 2007, which lasted on and off for a week, and Istanbul on Jan. 4 when people in the Yenibosna area saw a spinning circle with glowing white lights in the sky. Haktan Akdogan, the head of the Turkish Sirius UFO Space Science Research Center, claimed in August that the number of sightings in Turkey, as in many other countries, has been increasing in recent months." This last statement (emphasis mine) coupled with the increasing number of UFO photos and UFO videos being captured worldwide makes me wonder if the level of UFO activity is actually increasing.
