A recent UFO sighting in Lacomb, New York did not yield any UFO videos or UFO pics, but it did generate a fair amount of interest, both locally, and from the MUFON organization based in Colorado. According to a story printed in the Albany Democrat-Herald: "One clear evening last September, Raye and Derral Laufer spotted what they thought were strange objects in the sky above their home on Moran Lane in Lacomb...Raye has heard from about 100 people who have seen strange things in the sky, and a few saw what she and her husband did: Two silver, bullet-shaped objects heading across the sky and a glowing ellipse size of a Greyhound bus that hovered for about a minute above the treetops of their forested backyard and emitted sparks." And although the absence of UFO pics or UFO videos is disappointing, it's significant that this many people observed the same things that Raye Laufer and her husband did. As with any UFO incident, it's important to realize that multiple sightings of the same UFO by reliable witnesses can carry the same weight as UFO pictures. In some cases, a high number of witnesses is worth more than fuzzy UFO videos or photos of tiny, indistinct objects.
